Multilingual bibliographies: The babelbib package
=================================================

This package enables to generate multilingual bibliographies in
cooperation with babel. Two approaches are possible: Each citation
may be written in another language, or the whole bibliography can
be typeset in a language chosen by the user. The current version
supports Afrikaans, Bahasa, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto,
Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese,
Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
In addition, the package supports commands to change the typography
of the bibliographies.
Many of the standard and extended bibliography styles are available.

Please help me to add more languages to babelbib.

The file tugboat-babelbib.pdf is a draft of an article that has been
published in TUGboat. It contains a detailed documentation of the babelbib
package and how to extend it. The source code for this file is not included.
This article is about version 0.40 of this package but is up-to-date in most
parts.

Installation:

automatic: - run make
	   - run make install
	 or
           - run make
           - copy *.sty, *.bst, and *.bdf to the correct places in the
             texmf tree
           - run texhash or the corresponding command of your distribution

by hand: - execute latex on babelbib.ins
         - execute latex on babelbib.dtx (2x)
         - copy *.sty, *.bst, and *.bdf to the correct places in the
           texmf tree
         - run texhash or the corresponding command of your distribution

To do:
- Add more languages.
- Test the different BibTeX styles.
- Add definition of \btxurldatecomment to Esperanto, Swedish, and Afrikaans.
- Test on whether the edition is given numerically. Then, write an ordinal
number (idea by Nikos Platis and Robert Fuster).
