The AlgolRevived Font Package
--------------------------

AlgolRevived is a geometric serifed typeface reviving the Algol font designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1963 for typesetting the code portions of a manual on ALGOL. Two weights are provided: regular and medium, with both upright and slanted versions. Though the font is designed for typesetting code, it is not monospaced, and in my opinion, it doesnt look too bad if you have a fondness for text with a typewritten appearance with few typeset frills like f-ligatures, small caps and old-style figures.

The fonts are provided in OpenType and PostScript formats, are released under SIL's OFL, details of which are spelled out in the file OFL.txt accompanying the package.

The TeX font metrics, font definition files and other support files for AlgolRevived,
i.e., the other files in the archive algolrevived.zip, may be distributed and/or modified
under the conditions of the LaTeX Project Public License, either version 1.3 of
this license or (at your option) any later version. The latest version of this
license is in http://www.latex-project.org/lppl.txt and version 1.3 or later is
part of all distributions of LaTeX version 2003/12/01 or later. All files in that archive are

  Copyright (c) 2017 Michael Sharpe

Files provided "as is", with no warranties.

The support files are provided in encodings OT1, T1, TS1 and LY1 for users of Western scripts.

Current version: 1.01 2017-07-11

Changes in version 1.01
1. Added overlooked typewriter support (.sty and .fd files) for LaTeX.
2. Small documentation changes.

It is a pleasure to record my gratitude to Chuck Bigelow who provided a detailed critique of an earlier version of these fonts, which was most helpful in refining the glyph shapes and spacing.
