GTeX - Readme

GTeX is a DOS-Editor for the emTeX-Package. It uses Borland DPMI and offers
some features, especially for German users. The GTeX-Editor has commands to
compile TeX-Files, View the DVI-Files, Print the DVI-Files, call MakeIndex
and TeXCad (straight from the Editor). GTeX also supports amSpell, a
spell-checker for TeX-Files. amSpell can be installed with the Install-
Programm "GINSTALL.EXE" distributed with GTeX (only with the German
dictionary).

With GTeX comes "GREPLACE", a String-Replace Utility for the DOS-Command-
Line. GReplace is used by GTeX to solve problems with amSpell, but may
be handy for other stuff as well: GReplace is able to exchange given
Strings (max 32.000 at a time) in (unlimited) files and subdirs (see the
GReplace-Documentation, GREPLACE.DVI for more information).

GTeX was created using Borland Pascal's Turbo-Vison and is Freeware.
