~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WHAT'S NEW? TeXtelmExtel Betatest 1995.09.26
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Bugfixes:

(1)	Under Windows NT, the ampersand & character in command
	lines (for TeX format files) caused problems.
(2)	Small bug in Inverse Search removed.
(3)	TeXtelmExtel now recognizes Unix files (NewLine instead
	of CarriageReturn + NewLine) and converts them instead
	of producing ridiculously long editor lines.
(4)	DDE to open file now works even if TeXtelmExtel has to be
	started (Problem with modal info-dialog). Info-dialog is
	now "floating" and commands can be processed immediately.
(5)	TeXtelmExtel no longer crashes when a font for the editor
	window is not present.
(6)	The "Insert | Sectioning Hierarchy" command erroneously
	thought the \partition command means something like \part.
(7)	Some bugs in the Workplace function fixed.
(8)	TeXtelmExtel crashed when TeX was still running and
	TeXtelmExtel terminated.

New Features:

(1)	"Auto-Indent" and "Remember Column" options for editor
	added.
(2)	"Toggle INS/OVR with [Ins]-Key" option for editor added.
(3)	OEM/ANSI Conversion is now optional.
(4)	Backup Files are now optional.
(5)	Foreground and background colors of selected text is
	now user-defineable.
(6)	Support for Hippocrates Sendoukas' WTeX.
(7)	WTeX and DVIWIN can be closed when TeXtelmExtel exits.
(8)	Recent files now have a leading number from 1 to 4 in
	the "File" menu to simplify opening via keyboard.
(9)	Built-in Spellchecker. Took a while ...
(10)	New "Complete Command" feature (Edit menu).
(11)	The Goto Line command now can recompute lines with
	src specials.
(12)	"Edit|Match" will now work with \label, \ref, \pageref,
	\cite and \bibitem, too.
(13)	Improved Help system now includes TeXtelmExtel's windows.
(14)	TeX soucecode can now be sent to a printer.
(15)	User-defined tools now have a "Filename only" option.
(16)	Improved context-sensitive Help now detects commands
	when the cursor is placed anywhere in them.
