About swttex99.ZIP:

This Zip archive contains a TeX printer file called
swttex99.dvi file with a PostScript inclusion called
multline.eps.

     Its text begins as follows:

 ------------------

Sweet-teX News for version 0.99 (alpha)

Sweet-teX has long been a \TeX\ preprocessor for
mathematics, available on Macintosh computers under MacWrite
and WriteNow. Version 0.99 introduces Word Perfect support and
other innovations. It will initially be an incremental update;
thus what is being posted first is just a directory of new
material to replace or augment the existing elements. When
the new material is thoroughly tested late in 1995, version
0.99 will become a complete and autonomous posting.

 ------------------

Using WordPerfect as vector, it is a reasonable hope
that Sweet-teX will reach some day all major TeX platforms.
As a gesture in this direction, this publicity is being made
completely portable.

The .dvi file uses Computer Modern fonts only; so it
should print at any \TeX\ site.

If you use a PostScript printer, and keep the
accompanying file multline.eps along side of swttex99.dvi,
there is a very good chance that a sample of Sweet-teX typing
will show up on page 7. Ignore printer errors; they are a
penalty one has to pay for .dvi portability.
