glossary.sty history:

    * Version 2.4: fixed problems caused by \@sanitize.
      Extended package option "number" to be used with
      any counter (not just page or section). Added
      number key to \setglossarystyle. Removed
      some redundant code. Fixed problems caused with
      hyperlinks when using a mixture of counters for
      individual entries. Added extra \hyper<xx> page
      formats. Added hook to provide a sub header when
      using a tabular style glossary. Added means of
      specifying a column header for page list column.
      Added facility to insert text between groups.
      Fixed bug in documentation when omitting \OnlyDescription

      *** Note that if you update to version 2.4, it ***
      *** is advisable to delete your .gls etc files ***
      *** before recompiling.                        ***

      used in the description field of \newacronym.

    * Version 2.32: added \setacronymdescfmt. (Makes it

      acronym in one column and the long name in the
      second column.)
