The \fraction markup is another method of specifying a fraction. If you
enter "@1\over2@" you get " 1 2 ". Entering "1/2" will give you "1/2". To
get "1/" you specify "\fraction1/2 ~".

Consider my favorite breakfast recipe:

Heat butter or bacon in frying pan.
Pour all of
the batter into the pan. Cook @ approximately @
