This work consists of the files:
    README (this file)
    b1encoding.dtx
    b1encoding.ins
    b1encoding.pdf
  and the derived files
    b1enc.def
    TeXB1.enc
    b1cmr.fd

------------------------------------------------------------------
The distribution consists of the following files:
README (this file)
b1encoding.dtx
b1encoding.ins
b1encoding.pdf

    To install the bundle:
o run: latex b1encoding.ins (which will generate the derived files)
o Move b1enc.def into a location where LaTeX look for *.def files,
       for example /usr/TeX/texmf-local/tex/latex/bookhands/b1enc.def
o Similarly move TeXB1.enc,
       for example /usr/TeX/texmf-local/tex/latex/bookhands/TeXB1.enc
o And also b1cmr.fd
       for example /usr/TeX/texmf-local/tex/latex/bookhands/b1cmr.fd
o Don't forget to update the file database.
(for more information on all this see the FAQ).

To generate a second copy of the manual (which is already supplied as a PDF file):
o run: latex b1encoding.dtx
o (for an index run: makeindex -s gind.ist b1encoding.idx)
o run: latex b1encoding.dtx
o Print b1encoding.dvi for a hardcopy of the manual
