This subdirectory contains the PUBLIC part of the MicroPress TMMATH fonts
distribution, version 1.2 [April 2000]. See "What's New" below.

The distribution consists of support files for LaTeX 2E, LaTeX 2.09 and Plain
TeX and PK files for the fonts themselves (see below).

With LaTeX 2E, the style "tmmath.sty" is one way to access HVMATH fonts.
[A better way is to use Walter Schmidt's tmmaths.sty, which contains
a number of additional options as well as comprehensive documentation.
It can be found on CTAN.]

With Plain and LaTeX 2.09, you will need to create new format files using
whatever commands are suitable for your system.

Notice that the system relies on VF files. Thus it has no hope of working
with TeX versions that are VF-incapable (Y&Y TeX, for example).

The distribution has been tested with EmTeX/DVIPS and CWeb TeX.
While it will work with VTeX, we strongly recommend using Type 1 fonts.

If you would like to write detailed installation instructions for a particular
TeX system, we will be glad to include them into the distribution.

What's New:

Version 1.2 of TM Math contains full set of glyphs for T1 encoding
and most (all the useful once) glyphs for TS1. As such, it is
substantially more useful than the previous distribution(s) for
the European languages.

Several minor changes (improvements) have been made in the math fonts
as well.

Terms of distribution:

This distribution is free for personal home use.

For any kind of professional use you should obtain the Type 1 hinted version
of the TM-math family; this (and many other quality fonts)
is available from MicroPress.

See (http://www.micropress-inc.com) for details.

If these fonts are used in *ANY* material published on Internet, you are
required to give CREDIT to MicroPress and provide a clearly visible link to
the MicroPress Web site (http://www.micropress-inc.com).
