+ The phoenician bundle provides Postscript Type1 fonts for the semitic
+script in use from about 1600 BC, and which formed the basis for all the
+world's alphabets. Mirrored forms are provided for typesetting either
+left-to-right or right-to-left (as the Phoenicians did). This is one of a
+series for archaic scripts.

+o Move *.afm, *.pfb and *.tfm files to where LaTeX looks for font information
+ e.g., .../texmf-var/fonts/afm/public/archaic/*.afm
+ .../texmf-var/fonts/type1/public/archaic/*.pfb
+ .../texmf-var/fonts/tfm/public/archaic/*.tfm
+o Add the *.map information to the dvips/pdftex font maps
