From Karl Brodowsky (bk1@ix.urz.uni-heidelberg.de)

umlaute.lzh contains the following files:

umlaute.sty
dosuml.sty
readme.ger
readme.eng

To use umlaut characters in a TeX source file it
is necessary to enable TeX to understand them.

Emtex has this feature built in but it is also
possible to use it for other TeX by the file
umlaute.sty which has to be included.

umlaute.sty for ISO
dosuml.sty for DOS (Code Page 437)

Have fun with it, distribute it freely and
complain to your sysop if your TeX is not
eightbit-clean.
