This is the second release of javaDVI, a DVI viewer and printer
coded in Java. You will need Java RTE 1.3 to run this application.

To install the latest version of javaDVI, the Java TeX DVI viewer and printer:
1. Copy the file BaKoMa.zip somewhere.
Do not unzip it, just copy the zip file.
Remember where you copied this file.
2. Copy javaDVI.jar somewhere in your path.
3. For windows, create a shortcut where the target says
 java -jar javaDVI.jar
You may use full path names for either or both of the java
executable and the javaDVI.jar file if you wish.
For Linux, Mac, and others, do something similar.
4. The first time you open this application, do the following:
Do this before you look at your first DVI file.
 Pick the Edit menu
Pick the Set Font File menu item
Navigate to where you saved the file BaKoMa.zip, and pick it.
Close the form by picking Open.

New features -
1. javaDVI will now allow you to specify where to find the
 Computer Modern fonts (in BaKoMa.zip).
2. javaDVI will now remember your Print Double Sided settings.
3. javaDVI will now remember the last DVI file you used.
4. Much, but not all, of the text for the User Interface
is in the file javaDVI.properties which is in the jar file.
You can change language by changing this file. If you do
so, please send me a copy of the resulting file. This file
name obeys the Java locale standard, so e.g. its name for
the Swiss German version should be javaDVI_de_CH.properties.
5. Different paper sizes has been implemented.
6. The user can magnify the display and scroll around each page.

Yet to do:
1. Move the text for the rest of the user interface into
 the javaDVI.properties file.
2. Start handling \special commands.
3. Start moving in the direction of "High Quality DVI viewers".
