qpx, qtx has gone

-1. plików metrycznych (.tfm), które powinny być zainstalowane w odpowiednich
- katalogach (w strukturze zgodnej z TDS: texmf/fonts/tfm/public/qpx/);
-2. fontów wirtualnych (.vf), które powinny być zainstalowane w odpowiednich
- katalogach (texmf/fonts/vf/public/qpx/);
-3. plików makr dla MeX/LaTeX/amstex(amsmex) (.tex, .def), które powinny być
- zainstalowane w odpowiednich katalogach (texmf/tex/generic/qpx/ wybór
- katalogu ,,generic'' jest celowy, gdyż makra powinny być znajdywane
- przez różne formaty);
-4. dokumentacji i plików przykładowych (texmf/doc/fonts/qpx/);
-Po zainstalowaniu należy zwykle odświeżyć bazę danych instalacji (polecenie
-`texhash' dla fpTeX/teTeX/TeX Live; `initexmf -u' dla MiKTeX).

-Użycie:
-1. format MeX -- wczytanie makr
- \input qpxmath
- powoduje zamianę domyślnych fontów zarówno tekstowych, jak
- i matematycznych:
- plr -> qplr
- plsy -> pxsy
- plex -> pxex
- plmi -> qpxmi
- Dodatkowo zmienia definicje niektórych znaków, np. "+" i "=" (z rpxr),
- które są co prawda dostępne w qplr, ale trochę nie pasują do fontów
- pobranych z pakietu pxfonts. Zestaw znaków fontów matematycznych znanych
- z Plain TeX wzbogacono o $\varg$.
- Makra w pełni realizują (mamy przynajmniej taką nadzieję) zamianę
- standardowych fontów TeX-a CM/PL na fonty zbliżone do Palatino.
- Dodatkowo udostępniono proste przełączanie stopnia pisma
- (makra \tenpoint, \ninepoint, \eightpoint) oraz możliwość definicji np.
- \def\PT{dd} *przed* wczytaniem makr qpxmath.tex, czyli określenia
- użytego stopnia pisma w punktach Didota (domyślnie stopnie pisma
- definiowane są w pt). Ponadto udostępniono polecenie \sc przełączające
- font na kapitaliki. Dzięki takim zabiegom możliwe jest bardziej
- ,,przyjazne'' stosowanie fontów QuasiPalatino, nawet gdy nie są używane
- wyrażenia matematyczne.
- Przykład użycia: 01tst.tex.
- Wczytanie dodatkowych makr
- \input amsqpx
- umożliwia dostęp do poszerzonego zestawu symboli matematycznych, oraz
- poleceń $\frak A$ (litery frakturą), $\Bbb A$ (,,blackboard''), nawet
- bez użycia makr AMSTeX. Zestawienie dodatkowych symboli: qpxsymb.tex.
- [na razie nie rozwiązano problemu użycia plajnowego \mit ]
-2. AMSTeX/AMSMeX -- wczytanie makr

- powoduje, jak powyżej, zamianę standardowych fontów CM/PL na zbliżone
- do Palatino. Po wczytaniu dodatkowych makr

- i użyciu polecenia \loadbold, dostępne są makra AMSTeX:
- $\boldsymbol\Delta$, $\boldkey A$ itp., pozwalające na uzyskanie

-3. LaTeX -- w preambule należy zadeklarować:

- a) pxfonts.sty ładuje cały zestaw matematyczny (odpowiedniki standardu CM,

- b) qpalatin.sty przestawia fonty tekstowe na QuasiPalatino.
- c) qpxmath.sty zamienia cztery podstawowe fonty matematyczne:
- operatory -- na qplr; litery -- font wirtualny zbudowany z qplri
- i fontów PX; symbole i duże symbole -- odpowiedniki z PX.
- Ponadto zmienia niektóre definicje, podobnie jak w MeX i pakiecie
- polski.sty (\leq, \geq, \le, \ge).
- Ładowanie pakietu pxfonts.sty nie jest konieczne, jeżeli
- zadowolimy się standardowym zestawem symboli matematycznych.

- Użycie polecenia

- udostępnia w LaTeXu fonty kapitalikowe odpowiednie dla fontów
- QuasiPalatino, czyli prawidłowe zadziałanie poleceń \textsc{} (bądź \sc ).
- Wymagane jest jedynie wczytanie pakietu qpalatin (patrz pkt. b) powyżej).
- Dla tekstów niematematycznych jest to wystarczające.
