If you've just unpacked FEATPOST it's time to do bashscript/dosome.sh < /dev/null You'll see many text lines rolling up your scren, some of them containing error messages. DON'T PANIC. This will just take quite some time and about 80MB of disk space. It is supposed that you've got, at least, ImageMagick and Linuxdoc installed. Galrey, dog and textutils are also in order. All software is available as Debian GNU/Linux packages (except FEATPOST). Well, this is a bit complicated. The simple way is to copy the file macro/featpost3Dplus2D.mp to /usr/TeX/texmf-local/metapost/local/ or /usr/share/texmf/metapost/misc/ or something appropriate and to do texhash If you're returning you should remember to do export TEX=latex mpost -mem featpost example/standard/someexamplefile.mp bashscript/laproof someexamplefile N gv someexamplefile.N.eps & but, again, if you chose the simple way you must uncomment %input featpost3Dplus2D; in someexamplefile.mp Good luck! P.S. - The cutting-edge feature is "Automatic Perspective Tuning" as processed by the macro "photoreverse". If you want to know more about this: nobre@lince.cii.fc.ul.pt
