This is musixtex-fonts version 2.0 packaged 2021-08-30. It contains all of the font-related files for MusiXTeX, including both the original metafont sources and Type 1 versions by Takanori Uchiyama, and the specialized frenchtab and MuseJazzText fonts that have been moved from the musixtex packasge. The main author of MusiXTeX was Daniel Taupin, who died in a climbing accident in 2003; other authors credited in the MusiXTeX manual are Andreas Egler and Ross Mitchell.
